image of Jon Hamm and UWS penthouse for rentHere’s your chance to sleep in Don Draper’s bedroom. Sadly, Don Draper does not come with said bedroom. Former “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm is renting the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse he and his former girlfriend, writer-actress Jessica Westfeldt, purchased in 2013, according to 6sqft. Although the couple bought this Lincoln Center co-op for a relatively modest $2.5 million, they completed a thorough renovation. Now, Hamm intends to rent it out for a not-to-be-sneered-at $15,000 per month.

While most of us couldn’t rent this apartment even for a week, we still get a thrill out of dreaming about this place — and Hamm — being our own. The home has an entirely livable and easy feel — not what we’d expect of Mr. Draper’s aloof style, but we’re digging it. What sets the place apart is its seamless connection between indoor and outdoor space.

The apartment features two terraces, each landscaped with hedgerows, planters and light fixtures. One is directly off the dining room, where the indoor-outdoor connection is enhanced by a wall of casement windows and two skylights. The room features French doors and custom millwork, creating a country-in-the-city vibe. Again, not what we’d expect of Don Draper, but 100 percent charming nonetheless.

The main living area maintains the calming vibes with a blue-tiled fireplace and more views of the terrace. The kitchen is just a sweet as the rest of the apartment, mixing a fresh, country aesthetic with a practical layout. There’s a breakfast bar, a cheery window over the sink, and, of course, all the usual high-end appliances and finishes.

The bedroom is not quite how we’d imagine Don Draper’s boudoir, but its homeyness makes it all the more heart-melting. There are cute touches like a seated window nook, an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet and more terrace access.

If the perfect elegance of the apartment doesn’t win you over, you’re crazy. But perhaps the building address — 40 W. 67th St. — will. This Rosario Candela gem is on one of Lincoln Square’s loveliest blocks, just off Central Park, and features an understated sandstone facade.

Jon Hamm, we really wish you were among the amenities included with this apartment. But even if it lacks your impressive jawline and mysterious grey eyes, we’d happily set up shop here. Any chance you could come by to collect the rent?
