Marilyn Monroe stayed here. What more do you need to know?

The name of this movie is “Your Summer With Marilyn Monroe” — because if you rent the legendary windmill house in East Hampton this summer, you’ll be cozying up in the hexagonal confines where, in 1957, Marilyn and playwright Arthur Miller got away from it all.

Of course, this being the Hamptons, and this being a unique 1800s historic windmill that has been tastefully renovated and furnished, you will pay a Hollywood blockbuster price for the right to party like a starlet.

Located at 64 Deep Lane, this home will cost a whopping $55,000 to rent from Memorial Day to Labor Day. What you get for that is an 1,100-square-foot dwelling that sits on a rather gracious and green five-acre lot.

For that price, you might as well take it for the entire year, as agent Bobby Rosenbaum of Douglas Elliman has the 12-month option listed for $68,000.

The vertical nature of windmill living means the rooms are spread over three floors, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus living room and kitchen. So it’s not the square footage or the number of commodes driving the price of this unique rental. It’s all about Marilyn, who stayed here, once, 61 years ago.

And if Marilyn is not enough of a name to drop, other celebs who have allegedly stayed here include the novelist Kurt Vonnegut and the actor Terence Stamp, according to Curbed. Check out more photos:
