With the rezoning of the Webster Avenue corridor in place, the transformation of the Norwood section of the Bronx continues at a good clip. The latest sign of change is an affordable housing lottery just announced at the Norwood Gardens development.

The new rental building at 400 E. 203rd St. (which maps as 3084 Webster Ave. on StreetEasy) is offering 117 apartments, ranging from studios to 3-bedrooms, in the lottery. Income requirements are spread out at 60 percent, 90 percent, 100 percent and 130 percent of the area median income.

That opens the door for many New York apartment-seekers to apply, since eligible salary ranges start at $31,989 and extend to $86,840 for a single person. The maximum qualifying income is $143,910 for a household of six people:
