The only thing more coveted than a dishwasher in New York City apartments just might be an in-unit washer/dryer. If you’re lucky enough to have both, you might consider never moving again. Brooklyn buyers in the market for an apartment with these amenities should take a look at 411 15th St. #M. Our Deal of the Week is a 2-bedroom on the border of Park Slope and Windsor Terrace with modern upgrades and vintage aesthetics, located just one block from Prospect Park.

Why you’ll love it…
As mentioned, the star of the show is clearly the washer/dryer and dishwasher, which are both found in the unit’s gorgeous kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling white cabinetry, white subway tile backsplash, and white quartz countertops create a clean, monochromatic look. In addition to the dishwasher, there’s a full suite of stainless steel appliances including a side-by-side fridge, mounted microwave, and full-size oven. A peninsula offers bar seating for two, perfect for entertaining while cooking or eating quick meals.
You can add a dining table to the mix for additional seating, as the open kitchen/dining/living area offers ample space. The room also has two windows, hardwood floors, and exposed brick, creating a chic and timeless look. That exposed brick wall runs the length of the apartment and into one of the two bedrooms, accessible through a rustic barn door. Both bedrooms have windows and can fit queen-sized beds. The two rooms are also connected to each other via a pocket door, but both are separately accessible from the living area.
The bathroom, located off the entryway of the unit, has a window as well, in addition to a walk-in shower and white marble tile. There’s also a coat closet in the entryway, perfect for storing outerwear, shoes, and linens.
This unit comes with a 60-square-foot storage space in the basement of the building, which has recently been waterproofed. The building also offers bike storage, stroller parking, and a shared courtyard with furniture. And fear not, pet parents: the building allows both cats and dogs. Location-wise, the co-op is just one block from Bartel-Pritchard Square, Prospect Park, the YMCA, and Nitehawk Cinema. A slew of nearby eateries includes Pasta Louise Restaurant, Zatar Cafe & Bistro, Giovanni’s Brooklyn Eats, and LORE. Though it’s hard to imagine why you’d ever want to leave the neighborhood, doing so is easy with the F and G trains stopping just a block away.
…And why you might not
Of course, nothing is perfect — case in point, this building does not have an elevator. Another drawback is that the windows in the unit mainly face other buildings, but some might find that preferable to facing the street for noise reasons. And if your preference is to find a 2-bedroom in Park Slope for under $800K, then look no further!
