Address: 444 Ninth St. #3F

Price: $2,400

Size: 1-bedroom

Neighborhood: Park Slope

Best feature: This Park Slope rental has a lot going for it. But one of its best features hands-down is the location — right at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Ninth Street. It couldn’t be better situated to take advantage of everything this popular area has to offer. You’re right near the subways, loads of shops and restaurants, and of course, Prospect Park.

Another great feature? Those windows! They’re huge, flooding the space with light, and the third-floor perch really provides a sense of the neighborhood. In addition, a new renovation provides shiny hardwoods and a custom-tiled bathroom. Lots of exposed brick adds character. And finally, the kitchen is small but very cute, well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and a good amount of storage space.

Why it’s a deal: The median asking rent in Park Slope is $3,175, according to StreetEasy’s Data Dashboard. That puts our Rental of the Week at almost $800 per month below average for the neighborhood. Nice!

Biggest drawback: This Park Slope rental is located right on a bustling intersection. While this is a plus for many, it could be a noisy negative as well. In addition, the building does not appear to have laundry facilities, and the listing is very sparse. There’s no floor plan or real description provided. Guess you’ll have to go see it for yourself!
