A year after Rachel Dratch upgraded to a 3-bedroom apartment at The Rutherford in Gramercy Park, the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member has sold a 1-bedroom in the same building.
Dratch fetched $925,000 for the solid unit that features a nifty kitchen and bath remodel. Dratch may have played “Debbie Downer” on “SNL,” but the perky glass tile used in the kitchen backsplash and in the shower shows that the Boston-area native has a knack for upbeat design features.
While her new $1.65 million apartment is bigger, both units feature a terrace overlooking Stuyvesant Square Park.
The Rutherford is a 1961 condo building that features 24-hour doorman, concierge service and is pet-friendly. Best of all, it’s located within easy walking distance to Union Square and the Flatiron, as well as being right in the heart of one of NYC’s most venerable neighborhoods.
