This building is amongst four high rise buildings, known as the “Bridge Apartments”. Construction finished in 1962 on what was one of the world’s first aluminum-sheathed high-rises, with four concrete platforms providing the foundation.
These buildings are located in Washington Heights and lie on top of the I-95 highway leading to the George Washington Bridge.
