177 E 93rd is a beautiful century old brownstone on one of those pretty tree lined Carnegie hill blocks that is just near enough to the subway to be convenient and just far enough to feel tranquil and removed. A self managed co-op, it is evident from the curbside appeal(garden and all) that this building is well maintained by its owners, most of whom occupy their apartments as opposed to renting or using for pied a terres. No elevator and no doorman, but lots of care and friendly attention make this a wonderful building to call home.
