The expansion of New York University, which is clustered around Washington Square Park, and the renaissance, beginning in the late 1970’s, of the SoHo and NoHo districts, both full of art galleries, boutiques and many restaurants, has revitalized this wonderful section of the city that had been relatively dormant for decades. Avinash K. Malhotra was the architect. It has 242 apartments and is in the midst of this area’s great bustling activity where pedestrian traffic is very high. Bleecker Street is one of the major eastbound cross-streets of Greenwich Village and a local subway station is close to this building.Washington Square Park is a few blocks away to the north and west. This building boats of full-time doorman, storage in the basement, washer and dryer in building, and Elevators.
