Born in Vienna, Austria, and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, in a family of educators, Paul developed a global perspective and strong work ethic early in life. He earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin and later pursued studies in architectural interior design at The New School in Manhattan, deepening his appreciation for design, space, and the character of New York homes.

An avid traveler, Paul embraces opportunities to experience the world firsthand. His adventures have included trekking the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, exploring the vineyards of Argentina, going on safari in South Africa, watching his son play soccer in Paris, and taking in a sunset along the Zambezi River in Mozambique.

Paul, his partner, and their son are proud owners of a Manhattan co-op. One of his greatest joys has been raising his son in New York City and spending time with his family at their 1800s farmhouse in upstate New York.
