Edward Parran

Ed's background in real estate began in Boston in the early 80's, where he purchased, renovated and resold many dilapidated brownstones. In 1990, he moved to Manhattan to join the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, followed by three years converting warehouse buildings to loft apartments with a downtown developer. Ed has been an agent with Douglas Elliman since 1995 where he represents sellers and buyers of townhouses, lofts and apartments throughout Manhattan. Because these properties often require substantial upgrading, Ed's customers appreciate his specific knowledge of the design and renovation process. He has served on the coop board of 200 West 54th Street for sixteen years, developing additional expertise in building operations, financial management and board application reviews. In addition to English, Ed is fluent in French and Spanish, and owns homes in Manhattan, Columbia County, NY and Fire Island. Ed graduated from Colgate University with concentrations in Political Science and French and did graduate work at the Boston University School of Public Communications.
