Tom Hochfelder

Tom Hochfelder has been a passionate New Yorker his entire life. While he grew up on Long Island, he has spent his entire adult life in Manhattan. Tom’s love of real estate came when his first apartment went co-op. He was elected by the tenants to represent them and successfully negotiated on their behalf with the sponsor.

Today he resides on the Upper East Side where he raised his family, and remains active in the buildings and community in which he lived. Recently, Tom was President of his Park Avenue Condominium Association for six years, and created the first “irrevocable license” so the building could sell common space to individual unit owners.

Tom has always loved real estate – buying, reallocating space, renovating and selling many personal and investment properties over his 30 years in Manhattan and the Hamptons. He has extensive experience and expertise dealing effectively and creatively with bankers, lawyers, title companies, brokers, architects, managing agents, boards, superintendents and contractors. These unique talents greatly benefit every potential buyer and seller of real estate, who rely on his seasoned insight and proven guidance.

Many years in the apparel business honed Tom’s skills in marketing, sales and relationship building with everyone he comes into contact with. Tom is ever energetic, and constantly looking for opportunities, especially when they’re no so evident. His business acumen, negotiating savvy, entrepreneurial and global experience give Tom an advantage in dealing with buyers and sellers, each with their own objectives.

Although no longer the NCAA Wrestler he once was, Tom loves sports and plays golf, tennis, squash and softball.
