Leah Rubin

An 20-year industry veteran whose experience spans every facet of the real estate business, Leah Rubin is known for combining a friendly approach with comprehensive marketplace knowledge and a commitment to extraordinary results. Over her two decades in real estate, Leah has successfully brokered over $100 million in residential and commercial sales and leases throughout New York City.

Leah’s lifelong passion for real estate dates back to her experience growing up in Montreal, where she enjoyed observing the family business, watching her grandfather turn industrial property into office buildings. Based in New York for the past 30 years, Leah has been the owner of her own real estate company since 1996. Currently a resident of the Upper West Side, she possesses a particular expertise in condos and coops in that neighborhood—having recently sold apartments in prestigious properties there including 590 West End Ave and 180 Riverside Drive—as well as Midtown Manhattan office leasing, where recent notable deals include the new International Gem Tower at 50 West 47th Street, and Silverstein Properties’ 12,000-square-foot space at 529 5th Avenue.

Leah’s vast professional experience has also included overseeing many prominent retail deals, including a South Street Seaport revitalization project with the Durst Organization that involved preserving landmarked structures while transforming the buildings into eco-friendly properties. Recent new developments include 177 Concord in DUMBO and The Santorini in Astoria, which she personally marketed in Shanghai and Hong Kong. She has additional expertise in short sales and bank work-outs, and is also a member of the Greater Hudson Valley MLS, which includes Rockland, Dutchess, Sullivan and Westchester counties.

A graduate of Touro College with a degree in finance, Leah also holds a commercial real estate degree from NYU, and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the National Association of Realtors. She is fluent in Hebrew and Yiddish and speaks some French and Hungarian.
