Richard Nissan

Richard brings a unique global perspective to New York real estate, shaped by many years in the international fashion industry. Throughout his career, he connected suppliers and clients across the world, developing the communication skills, negotiation style, and people-first approach that now define his work in real estate.

He entered the industry through commercial real estate, specializing in the leasing of fashion showrooms, where he quickly discovered how much he enjoyed helping people find the right space. What began as a natural extension of his fashion career has grown into more than 15 years of experience spanning both commercial and residential real estate. As friends, family, and colleagues increasingly sought his guidance, Richard expanded into residential sales and rentals, bringing with him the same reliability, integrity, and follow-through that characterized his earlier work. He finds particular fulfillment in helping clients secure homes they truly love.

Today, Richard works with buyers, sellers, and renters throughout New York City and Long Island. As a member of both REBNY and LIBOR (One Key MLS), he is able to navigate these markets seamlessly and advocate confidently on behalf of his clients. Clients often describe him as steady, approachable, and reassuring—someone who gives them genuine confidence that their interests are well represented at every step of the process.

A lifelong New Yorker, Richard earned business degrees from NYU and Pace University. Outside of real estate, he enjoys the city’s music scene, attending concerts, and playing piano and drums.
