Lester Rivera

Lester’s passion for real estate began over 20 years ago, when working as an agent in the Bronx. While working for Paradise Realty, he was consistently a top listing agent. This allowed him to become very knowledgeable in the Bronx market. He assisted senior agents with showings and prepared comparable reports for brokers. He went on to pursue a 20 year career in finance, working for Lexis Nexis-Martindale Hubbell. He advanced through the company, starting as a junior clerk and working his way up to Team Lead, where he supervised his team of 7 employees. One of his strengths was ensuring proper communication between his staff and upper management. He is certified by Development Dimensions International in Coaching for Success & Resolving Conflict. Clearly, these are important tools in negotiating that perfect deal for his clients.
Lester has been a long time resident of Washington Heights and has now returned to real estate with much enthusiasm. He loves the parks, scenic views, and especially the rich history of his neighborhood. Lester attended the local elementary school, P.S 132 and was a cub scout at Ft. Washington Collegiate Church. He studied electrical engineering at Brooklyn Technical H.S. He regularly attends community board meetings to stay in touch with the overall pulse of the neighborhood. He is certified by IPRO in teaching Stanford University’s Diabetes Self-Management Program, in Spanish.
In his free time, Lester is an avid Yankee fan, and enjoys weight training at a local gym. He also enjoys many of the restaurants and lounges that the area has to offer. Lester has also been an event planner for 10+ years. He has promoted top venues such as Marquee, Cain Luxe, Imperial, Retreat, Empire Room, Glass and INC. Some of his notable clients have been American Latino TV, The Trump Organization, Baila Society, Baruch College Alumni Association, The Miss Universe Organization, Saint Vincent’s Memorial Hospital, and the Port Authority of NY/NJ Hispanic Society.
