Maria King is an experienced real estate sales professional transitioning from the Brooklyn market after over a decade; she is affiliated with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty in New Canaan, CT. With over 12 years of sales experience, Maria initially worked in specialty pharmaceutical sales for Johnson & Johnson as a postgraduate. This role afforded a keen understanding of the importance of addressing client needs and adding value. While working in various national markets, Maria developed an intuitive talent for sales/marketing in various environments while balancing contract negotiations and customer service. In response to a shifting economy, Maria ventured to obtain her real estate license as a resident of Brooklyn, NY. The energy and culture within the borough meshed with historic brownstones and new development was mesmerizing! She is experienced in rental and sales (co-listing agent) transactions-- condo, single family, multi-family, new renovation, etc. Maria now resides with her fiancé and Bichon Frisé ("Valentino") in Darien, CT. She was raised outside of Denver, CO and graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. Her other personal interests include cooking, fashion, skiing, travel and volunteering.
