Sakura Akiyama

As a Brooklyn native, Sakura offers an in-depth knowledge of NYC and its diverse neighborhoods and offerings. A graduate of Hunter College’s English program, her seasoned skill set was honed initially in the hospitality industry, and then at a luxury concierge company. Prior to real estate, Sakura was an executive personal assistant, including for the CEO of a well-known political consulting firm where she also planned events and gatherings for political thought leaders. Most recently she served the CEO of a boutique investment firm in Manhattan. Sakura is extremely well organized, attentive to detail, and committed to personalized service. She represents her real estate clients with the same high level of discretion, diligence and dedication for which she’s long been known. Understanding that each home buying process is unique, Sakura is committed to finding every client the home they love, and value they deserve. While specializing in rentals and sales throughout her hometown, Sakura also owns a home in The Catskills and is able help buyers seeking a second home or those relocating to the Catskills and Hudson Valley area. When not immersed in real estate, Sakura enjoys spending time at her home in The Catskills with her family and friends. Her other passions include traveling, antiquing and interior design.
