Real estate has always been J. Alex Brinson's first passion.

The son of a Philadelphia real estate broker and investor, Alex began touring properties and evaluating investment opportunities with his father at just eight years old. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for real estate, entrepreneurship, and community development. Today, his family continues to own, operate, and manage a multifamily and residential portfolio throughout the greater Philadelphia region.

As Founder and Chairman of Think Brinson Group of Companies, Alex leads a diversified advisory platform spanning real estate, entertainment, sports, and strategic business advisory. Through Think Brinson Real Estate, he advises buyers, sellers, developers, investors, and family offices on residential and commercial transactions throughout New York City, with a relationship-driven approach built on discretion, market knowledge, and long-term value creation.

Before launching Think Brinson, Alex built a successful career in the entertainment industry, appearing in acclaimed television series including Travelers (Netflix), All Rise (CBS/OWN), and American Sports Story (FX/Hulu). That experience sharpened his ability to negotiate, communicate, and advocate for clients in high-pressure environments—skills he now brings to every real estate transaction.

Alex is a graduate of The Juilliard School in New York City and also studied producing and post-production at the Vancouver Film School. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and remains committed to community development, entrepreneurship, and expanding access to opportunity through the arts.

Based in New York City, Alex lives with his wife and two children and serves clients throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and beyond.
