For Ethan, real estate isn’t a side hustle; it’s his chosen profession and long-term career. After successfully earning a Master of Science in Real Estate (M.SRE) from Fordham University in 2025, he has developed advanced knowledge and honed practical skills across residential and commercial property and asset management, laws and regulations, private equity, investment and market analysis, ethical negotiation, development processes, finance, accounting, and taxation.

With his NYS Real Estate License, Ethan now serves as a Real Estate Advisor with Compass NYC on the David Chang Team, one of the firm’s premier teams in New York, ranked #9 in New York State and #38 nationally in the 2023 RealTrends/The Wall Street Journal rankings. 

Ethan’s deep understanding of local and regional markets enables him to bring value to clients across New York City, drawing from both cutting-edge academic training and on-the-ground insight.

At heart, Ethan believes that real estate is about people, about helping clients achieve meaningful goals, building lasting relationships, and earning their trust. A member of several elite real-estate clubs and associations in NYC, he has also been practicing Vipassana, a type of noble meditation technique (since 2016), enjoys adventurous travel (exploring new countries, hiking, deep-woods camping, sky-gliding, and he aims to challenge himself with achieving a full-marathon, parachuting, sky-diving, and scuba-diving). He embraces a daily cold-shower ritual even in winter’s chill. His blood is mixed with macchiato and matcha espresso. He loves making single-origin pour-over after running around Prospect Park.

Ethan’s life philosophy is simple: “Everything is changing and impermanent in the material universe, and human beings should learn to live with compassion, loving-kindness, and altruism and share harmony and peace with one another.” That ethos shapes how he approaches every client relationship, equanimously, thoughtfully, respectfully, and always with a fiduciary manner.
