Richard Melendez

Richard Melendez has enjoyed a highly successful and diverse real estate career for more than 30 years. He worked as senior project manager for P&J Realty for two decades, managing 500+ residential units, 1.5 million square feet of commercial space and 21 retail stores, all in NYC, plus complemented his experience in brokerage for over nine years.

In 2009, Richard decided to open his own brokerage firm, Consortio NYC Real Estate. He continued to grow and work the business until 2017, when he made the decision to open up an office in Bushwick (Brooklyn, NY).

Richard and his team specialize in all facets of real estate including property analysis, home evaluation, land use analysis, broker price opinion for banks, residential, commercial and retail property sale and rentals, short sale and foreclosure expertise, equity investment, joint venture opportunities and investment properties. They dominate the market in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx, plus sell properties in Westchester all the way up to Cooperstown, NY.

This real estate sales and investment aficionado works throughout New York as well as Florida and Puerto Rico. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) with the National Apartment Association (NAA), and holds Sprinkler, Standpipe, Fire Safety Director, Boiler and HVAC certificates. His team is multilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and of course English.

Richard resides in Westchester and holds a Bachelor degree in Christian Education from Logos Bible College.
