We are renting the 2 largest of 3 bedrooms in a spacious, furnished apartment on Roosevelt Island. We will retain the smallest bedroom though we will use it very rarely. All the common rooms will be yours to use.

The apartment is in excellent condition. It was renovated 4 years ago. It has two floors. The upstairs is the living room, dining room, kitchen, and powder room. It has views of Queens. The downstairs has the bedrooms and the full bathrooms. The master bedroom suite has an attached bathroom with shower, a walk-in closet, and two other closets. It has views of Manhattan. The second bedroom is quite spacious and looks out on Queens. The second bathroom has a tub.

There are electric heaters and air conditioners upstairs and in each bedroom. The electricity is submetered so you only pay for what you use. We average less than $200 per month. Gas, water, and internet are included.

The building staff is cheerful, friendly, and efficient. There are doormen on duty 24/7. They will receive and send your packages. There is an excellent super and a staff of handymen for any problem that may arise. There is a small gym in the building and a larger gym and pool available in the building next door. During the day, the large Inspiration Room is used as a playroom for kids and at night it serves as a place for meetings and entertainment. There’s a large outdoor courtyard with tables, grills, a playground and exercise area, and a dog run. There’s a large laundry room and a bike room.

Roosevelt Island is, in our opinion, the perfect place to live in New York. Manhattan is one subway stop away. A commute to midtown takes 20 minutes door to door. Yet the island is serene, beautiful, and safe. Children can take advantage of the many playgrounds, ball fields, basketball courts, and pools without their parents having to worry about their safety. There are outdoor and indoor tennis and pickleball courts. The Sportspark has a large pool and extensive gym facilities at a bargain rate. There is a performing arts center with its own theater and dance studios.
