Was wondering how hard it is for a non-resident foreigner to apply for a mortgage to purchase in NYC? Any idea on rates and % down? Resources or willing banks? As per a couple brokers, they will not consider, without having even looked at salary, collateral in the form of other property owned outright in the states. Thanks!
