Buy now while the mortage rates are low?

I'm fresh out of medical training (aka long era of poverty) and clueless about RE but learning exponentially. I've been accumulating $$ towards a down payment while also waiting for the market to become more favorable for buyers, but just confirmed that the RE market is still on the decline, thanks to you bloggers. The question is whether I should hold out another few months or buy something now while the mortage rates are low? I get pressured to buy now as the rates may skyrocket.
