As the saying goes, "What do you expect from muslims? That's what they do. Evil as H*ll, racist, misogynist, and homophobic as a middle eastern muslim."

Just wait, when people start to shit on the graves of the 911 victims, the ignorant liberal left will cum running to defend their actions as a perfectly American and natural thing to do.

Ben Quayle the second son of Dan Quayle. If you aren't familiar with him, it's worth a good amusing half hour. My favorite, and there is a LOT, is the most recent advertisement. Content aside, I don't quite know how to describe the unique delivery and tone.

i'm more intrigued by the president having a ramadan celebration in the white house. i also don't understand why he keeps what he is secret and not make a stand. while on the "View" when asked why doesn't he acknowledge that he is half white (by Barbara Walters) he avoided the question by stating "I wrote a book about this" so i guess he needs to sell books; and said that people should respect each other as an answer. When campaigning he neither denied nor confirmed his religious beliefs. As a public figure, celebrity, president of a great & free country, we have the right to know and understand who is leading us and where we are going.

julialg, thank you for posting these. it seems that people really do need to be reminded exactly why this area is off limits. does no one remember that day anymore or the aftermath? fashion mags were declaring the end of high heels, that from then on women would only wear sneakers, to more comfortably run for their lives. the crowded subways were silent and when the train passed through the deserted stops like park place people would openly sob. this is short memory at the level of mental retardation.

We should say yes to the mosque
We should execute the 9/11 masterminds as war criminals.

More than anything the 9/11 families want justice. We know who is behind 9/11 get them and not the practicioners of their religion.

FYI, we DO have a few DAILY muslim prayers at the in-house Mosque at the Pentagon, which you know, was also attacked on 9-11. Silence on this. Unless you want to tell our men and women in uniform what religion they can practice?

We also have mulsim crescents on the graves of thousands of soldiers at arlington and other miltary cemeteries. Should we dig up those dead soldiers and move their offensive graves? While we are at it, lets get rid of those atheist, wiccan, and mormon graves too. Those religions freak me out.

'why is it that to defend this center at this location, one must make irrelevant and hyperbolic analogies?"

Like Juliag and you are not supermegahyperbolic in your posts?

The fact is, the first amendment DOES and has allowed skinheads to march through mostly black towns for neo-nazis to openly say they hate Jews and for these wierd recent "god hates fags" christian fanatic protests at soldiers' funerals. It allows Atheists to have billboards denouncing religion in general in Colorado Springs and for people hawking "cures" for homosexuality to roam around Chelsea and West Hollywood handing out pamphlets. The first amendment allows anti-abortion protesters to show pictures of fetuses to women going in to get abortions and for Glen Beck to say Obama is racist with a deep seated hatred for white people.

In short, no matter HOW offensive, the courts have repeatedly ruled people have the right to express themselves HOWEVER they like and to have WHATEVER religion they like, period.

All the rest is just hooey. We can have Satanic cults, Alien worshipping people who claim they can clone people, a South Korean man who claims to be Jesus and marries thousands at a time, and British men who write books about how its all rubbish.

All of this appeal to emotion is irrelevant. People have an absolute right to freedom of religion in this country with no qualifiers.

My comment is yes he had a ramandan dinner in the white house and supports religious freedeom but has he had an easter dinner? or a Rosh Hoshana celebration? he canceled the national day of prayer, he didn't visit the soildiers cementary in honor of our military and we are still at war. I just question his patriotism, point blank i don't trust the guy! he is not an open book and that troubles me. I don't care if he is a muslim or half black or half white, but why not stand up for it and acknowledge it, why hide it make a stand, mean what you say and say what you mean it shouldn't matter what your ratings are, you are what you are.

regarding building the mosque/muslim center, i don't think anyone is saying that muslims cant practice their religion or build a mosque, i think what is in question is the site they are choosing. it makes people wonder if there is an alteria motive, why does it have to be there? i think anything that goes up in the 911 site needs to be sanctified, the wtc site is sacred and hallowed ground, and many plans/bldgs could be deemed inappropriate and disrespectful. i know i wouldn't be comfortable if say there was an apartment building built there, honestly who would want to live in apt bldg built on a grave site where thousands of people of all faiths racist died unexpectedly? creepy as is building a mosque there.

This would create good will and show 'sensitivity" from the religion of peace.

tallisman You're a perfect representative of the modern day American. "Wouldn't a large celebrated Mosque next to ground zero decrease the chance of another attack in this location? If so, I say build four mosque's, one at each corner and let it be known through out the Middle East. I lost a friend 9 years ago, I work downtown, what about MY sensitivity to being attacked againy".

A truly pathetic statement.. You should be ashamed.

tallisman You are a disgrace. That was perhaps the most cowardly statement that I have ever heard.

How do you live with yourself?

That's weird, your ducking questions, I'm answering them, and I'm the coward. Up is Down?

the most cowardly statement you've ever heard? come on, hasn't your buddy, the leader of the regime done better? i'm sure you can think of something at least equivalent. julia, you are a walking talking joke. luckily you are representative of a party of one---you and yourself.

you thrive on ranting and raving about people you know absolutely nothing about. keep going, you are doing a great job of letting everyone see what you stand for.

Send that philisophical idea to all your friends. A powerful and courageous statement. If you have children, make sure they see it. They will admire you.
