Noteworthy.... 686 Ninth Avenue

I told the broker (Jodi) that I wanted a lease on this apartment the day it went on the market. After blowing me off, the rent was raised $200. The current tenants pay $2495 and I'd advise that they rennovate the bathroom before upping the price by almost 10%. It doesn't have a dishwasher, contrary to what the description states. I spoke to various tenants in the building. They're all content with the area and size of their apartments but complained of the mice, cockroaches, and unresponsive super. If living there would have been half the hassle that dealing with the broker has been, it wouldn't have been worth it anyways.....
