Baseboard cost

I'm installing new floors in my living room and bedroom and have two very different estimates for the baseboards. One is coming at $700 and one is coming at $2000. The higher contractor is also charging $2500 to demo the existing parquet floor. The install price for both contracts are coming in the same.Can someone please give some thoughts on a good price for 500 sq. ft. apartment to do the baseboards and demo? Thanks.
