Has anyone ever heard of a 10% attorney referral fee which is deducted from the attorney/seller's broker's fee at closing? I know an attorney who sold his apartment and retained 10% of his broker's commission based on this referral agreement they'd entered into at the time the exclusive listing arrangement was agreed to.
