Will property taxes decrease?

Discussion about
If sales prices are falling, then RE tax assessments should fall & logically, RE tax should decrease. But, NYC will probly increase the tax rate, so taxes will remain the same or increase. NYC, like all municipalities, are tax hungry & RE is a sitting duck-golden egg goose.
