Discussion about
With everyone yapping about buying vs renting... I've decided to buy as it is to my advantage. I'm currently renting and it is definitely a burden on me. If I bought a place, the amount I pay for mortgage + hoa + taxes are less than the amount I'm spending on renting. the taxes are abated so I'm happy for the next 10 years. The hoa is definitely low. The apartment I'm currently renting is nice, but it lacks one thing and that is stability in rent. My rent has increased dramatically over the past few years. At the end of the day, it's about my choice to invest in a property. If I take into account from various websites offering "rent vs buy" free analysis, i'm better off buying.
fascinating
interesting! I just tried out this calculator. it's worth buying if i'm planning on living there more than 3 years.

LOL BROKER THREAD ALERT! - Honey, good for you if you're really run the analysis, but at these inflated prices it is probably not worth buying unless you intend on living there more than 15 years. Read the article under the thread "buying a home is a bad investment"
#4, a lot of people may agree with you if you would put a legit timeframe in your argument. 15 years is just plain ridiculous.
Umm question to #1, did anyone ask you what you thought of buying vs. renting? No one cares what you do. You an idiot.
I agree with #6 but the real idiot is the one that writes "you an idiot" lol! But seriously, #1 no one cares.
How is 15 years ridiculous? There are some people out there that are buying for the long term. I am looking to buy something spectacular and I plan on staying there forever.
Ummm question to #6, no cares about your opinion. To quote you and your poor grammar, "you an idiot."
blah blah blah... #6 is such a loser.
#1 is CLEARLY a broker
why ? maybe someone who wants to own there own home and not be at the mercy of a landlord forever
