Ilive in Chelsea......my rent is going up $400.00 a month.......It is not rent stabilized.......I am paying $1550 now.......I can't afford a $400 increase for a studio.....where can I go.......I love this area...that it will be less......Tootles

If you love Chelsea, you can either try further west in Chelsea or "the dirty 30's" where there are some great bargins or Hell's Kitchen. IMO, the line between Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen is blurring and will be purely geographical in a few years. Good luck!
