What happend to that crappy penthouse at 16 West 16th?

Remember a number of us went to look at this: http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/371660-coop-16-west-16th-street-chelsea-new-york The space was not very good at all and didn't feel like 2,000 sq feet. Its gone now - anyone know what happened?

Was that the one with the big tree on the terrace that would need to be removed?

yes. and the marble floors. and the clutter. and the crazy master bath with the telephone and built in niche for the circa 1980s tv. and don't forget the hot water heater in one of the closets.

yes - that one .... the terrace wasn't even that nice and I doubt it measured anywhere near 2,000 sq feet. I went to the OH and it was pretty packed but it may have been a bunch of people from here!

Why is there a full bath in the entry foyer? What are you supposed to do with that?
