Discussion about
http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/406066-coop-55-e-11th-st-greenwich-village-new-york $1.95 in 2007, $3.15 in 2009.
I've encountered a number of properties who actually have increased asking price from 2007/08. Yes, there are suckers out there. Though not too many anymore as this seller will soon learn.
With a view of nothing (and no floor plan - Danger Will Robinson!)
Ha-ha-ha.
One does have to wonder. It seems like it would have been kind of hard not to sell at that location and price in 2006-07. Maybe they did a gut reno?
Who cares what "they" did? Basic economic theory says input prices are unrelated to output prices. If you invest $1 million renovating your studio apartment with an alley entrance in Morrisania, do you really think you'll get $1 million back?
steve, get off your high horse, would you. where did i say that the apartment was worth more, especially 50% more.
it just might explain a portion of their delusional thinking.
If you look at the sale in 2007, you can go to corcoran website and find pictures of apt before reno and also the floorplan (which has changed drastically based on current pics).
Thanks 10023, this one did seem a bit odd even to me, the cynic.
something very odd about this listing...given that its the entire floor, this would be the time to mention sq ft, no? why no floorplan?
why didn't this show up as sold on SE?
