You know I'm on it. LOL.
I don't quite agree with that sentence just yet. What are they basing it on? Repricing at 273 Manhattan? That's a bit of a joke. They had to make such big cuts in the first tower to clear inventory for the second, being built as we speak. Even that tower is still priced as before, so I'm not convinced much has been "repriced." I'm expecting eventual cuts there and at the Edge though, it'll just take more time.
$600/ft2 for brooklyn? No thanks.
In a year those buildings in BF brooklyn will be crackcondos and prime manhattan apartments will be <$600/ft2-- and I'll buy one of 'em.
bjw2103,
I'm not messing with you i'm being serious. You don't agree with that sentence just yet made by who?
"They had to make such big cuts in the first tower to clear inventory for the second, being built as we speak."
Has the first tower been fully sold, occupied or whatever they call it today?
"Even that tower is still priced as before, so I'm not convinced much has been "repriced."
If prices are still the same I don't believe NSP "sold" 25 apts as of recent. If someone can prove different I will retract my statement.
"I'm expecting eventual cuts there and at the Edge though, it'll just take more time."
Did The Edge rent/sell any apts after that huge open bar/house soiree they held?
The sentence used for the subject of this thread: "Toll Brothers Effectively Repriced Much of Williamsburg." I don't think it's accurate as of now. The first tower is getting there if this "25 in contract" (I don't think they would have closed yet) bit is accurate, as there would be about 30 or so remaining for the whole first tower. Look at the second tower prices - much higher still.
I agree, the title is not accurate as of yet. You know how the media sensationalize topics.
