"Home is shelter. We hope it goes up with the rate of inflation. It used to be that people would buy at the poiny when it was a wash with rental prices. Cheap credit, banks and people who buy homes they cannot afford are to all partially to blame for the current level of over supply. We need to regroup and take stock. The returns of the last 15yrs - 20 yrs are not to be replicated any time in the near term. "
