I am purchasing a coop and was wondering if people hire condo inspectors to check out the apt. If so does anyone have any names? Thanks

Most of the time, you don't really need a home inspection of a coop but you do have to check the by-law of the coop. Some coop by-law stated that owners are responsible for things inside the apartment, if that's the case, you will want a home inspection to make sure things are in good shape from previous owner. I used an inspector from Long Island (Kim Lim P.E), you will have to check if he covers the area where your coop is located.
