why do you think that? The bedroom/home office is separate with a window from the living room... How is that a studio -- it is not even an alcove studio with a wall....

It's a nasty hybrid of the two. The "home office" is called that instead of "bedroom" because it has no window. Same apartment or line was discussed the other day, with someone noting how foul an unventilated sleeping-room must be. There's a reason bedrooms must have a window to be called such.

Also the square footage looks bogus. I don't know how they come up with nearly 800 sf.

Hard to believe somebody paid $660k for that place. Ugh.

Like this is something new? For the past 10 years brokers have been adding 1/2 to 1 room and 200 sf to most listings. I've seen so many straight 2 br's listed at 5.5 rooms. Jr4 listed at 4.5 rooms, etc.

They just do that to get in a 1 br search so that prospective buyers might consider them as a less expensive solution. But I bet if a buyer was interested and never said anything, either would the broker.
