Discussion about
We may want to move on an apt that is currently 1,700,000. Apt. has been on market for over 200 days, had a couple of price drops and doesnt seem to be getting a ton of interest. Dont want to overpay in this market, but dont want to be so low sellers dont take serious. Any thoughts, advice, etc......

Over and over we say this. Forget the sellers. YOU decide the value of the place and initiate a bid based on an overall strategy of where you want to end and how you anticipate getting there. Search for the thread on Negotiating Tips on here, because your very question concerns me.

It pays to fall in love with more than one place so you aren't cornered by your own emotions on negotiations.

Don't fall in love with things, its for the weak, the soft, fall in love with woman, they are much more dangerous, and expensive.
Real Estate? Its just an emotion. get over it.

What do you think it's worth & what do you want to pay?
