Yes. They have a rent-to-own program that will apply 2 years of rent to your purchase price. Asking prices are way too high, no idea about negotiability. Distant views are great (though not protected) but there's nothing but roadway right in front of you. There's also a site next door where another building will go up eventually (that developer is supposedly giving all his attention to a Williamsburg project at the moment), so some views will be blocked and it will make the common patio unpleasant at best during construction. The entrance to the building is pretty grand, but in a Love Boat/80's sort of way. Engineered wood floors w/ gaps are a definite turnoff, and kitchens look kind of 80's, too, though still pretty nice to an unrenovated tenement dweller.

Truly dismal location.
