Does anyone know what the approx rent for 2 br 2 bath is going for these days? The area I'm looking at is midtown west around the Columbus Circle/Time Warner center area. I looked at some apts recently, they're around $4000 per month net. Is that about right, or will I be able to negotiate a better deal?

it depends on the ammenities and whether there is an elevator.

Oh, I'm looking at apartments with elevator, doorman and health club. Health club is optional for me actually.

It's highly doubtful you'll get a 2-2 with such amenities for less.
