Discussion about
Its obvious that most of the people listing on Street Easy can no longer afford to live in thier Condos, and thats unfortunate. But you cant have your cake and eat it too. Either you want to rent your unit or you dont. I think it beyond ludicrist to ask a potential tenat to pays all the fees assocaieted with leasing a unit and then have the gall to want to use his or her rental as your personal storage facilty. Please, take your stuff and get out! PS You brokers/used car salesmen are not worth two cents!
Sheesh, spell-check much? And what the hell is 'ludicrist' anyway?
Ok, you don't want to rent a a furnished unit? So don't rent a furnished unit. There. Feel better now?
Ha ha, Andre. We agree. We found a few apartments that looked interesting but were only available furnished. (Most had been for sale and were pulled off the market.) Under no circumstances do I want to deal with the owner's ugly furniture
andre, I agree. One time I almost rented a condo and the broker said it was 2800 a month. She bought me to show the unit - it looked nice then she said "oh, since it is furnished, the price now is 3100 instead" So, not only did they want a place to store there crappy furniture, they wanted me to pay for the priviledge of me having to use it. On top of that I would have had to pay for storage for my nicer furniture. I told them to get lost.
Yeah, I have to admit, I feel alot better now. Thanks for asking, PRICK! I hope my spelling of PRICK was gramactically correct.
What Squid said.
If you say you want unfurnished, yet look at furnished, then you or your agent are doing something wrong.
>>Yeah, I have to admit, I feel alot better now. Thanks for asking, PRICK!<<
Great! You're very welcome. Enjoy the rest of your day.
And what the hell is 'gramactically' anyway?

Beats me. Anyone here fluent in Tool?
Perhaps the owners, who missed the boat to sell, assume that renters have no furniture of their own (because they are poor and dumb for having failed to buy at the top of the market)...
>>Beats me. Anyone here fluent in Tool?<<
LOL
Pehaps the potential renter owns his home outright, and wants to purchase a propety in the city. But thinks this market has a long way to go before it bottoms out and thinks its in his best interest to rent for a year. How's that scenario?
PS
Poor and dumb? As opposed to the rich- genuises, who's failed financial models and unbridled greed are reasons we are in this quagmire.
Looks like someone missed the sarcasm...
"I think it beyond ludicrist to ask a potential tenat to pays all the fees"
googled 'ludicrist' and they are a band and tenat is "Tenat of the planet Oran" (some sort of space alien)
so the band should not ask this alien to pay fees. I am guessing the band are trying to rent out their furnished apt..
good point, why should aliens be paying bands for furnished apts, no wonder the market is a mess.
Easy there... "POTENTIAL" alien, let's not make any assumptions without getting all the facts.
