I am looking to rent in a brand new condo building in Manhattan. Must be in very safe area to walk with great access to subway. i am currently the first renter in a condo near Columbus Circle (Sheffield), but owner wants to occupy, so I need another place to rent---prefer new building so can have washer/dryer in unit. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
how did you find your current condo rental? Look through craigslist, also go the area you want to live and ask the doorman if he know of any condo rentals...good luck
there are aapartments available for rent in the plaza. look on street easy under rentals.
there is a new development section on SE. just pull up the Manhattan new developments, and it will list them along with the number of units for sale and rent. pick one with a lot of options, and voila.
if you want specific advice, you should list the size and price you are interested in, and the locations you would or would not consider.
I'll play along ... rental on UES or UWS for under $4500 for 2 bed/2 bath. Any ideas?
what matters to you? we can't play free rental agent without some input. fishkill gave the basic info.

I think this is a great idea! Buyers of these units are trying to rent them out as quickly as possible and at low prices in an attempt to cover as much of their costs as possible. You get a brand new never lived in apartment to boot!
riversider, if only you'd consider FiDi i'm sure i could find the apartment of YOUR dreams!!! with a killer bunny.
I can't stand how the windows don't really open more than a few inches in new condos.
Not a killer bunny!

Are new buildings that wanted to be sales listing any apts as rentals? Would this info be on their websites? Anyone know of any decent ones in the East 60's to East 75th? Or West 67 to West 80th?
