Lord knows. I have no insights. Maybe they put a wall up in an alcove studio. Voila, $1,000 temporary wall, $300k in equity.

The original price was a mistake. You can't seriously think you could have gotten 1100 sf for $550 per. Yet.

evnyc, I wouldn't doubt that for a minute. I mean, I saw the fact that it was an Increase as opposed to a Decrease (which is much more understandable) and simply said, "I must post and see what the streeteasy guru's say".... I must call them when I get a free second and ask. Once done, I will post answer for all to laugh at.

Actually wasn't there a $600 psf sale int he same building posted here last week?

I couldn't remember for sure, that is why I used the power of the interwebs to ask. I mean that place for 700 a sq ft is about where it should be IMHO.
