Maybe it's a temporary reduction in maintenance -- from the tax rebate or something. But quoting a temporarily lower maintenance is still sketchy.

A 12 x10 bedroom? For 750K? Yes, waaaay too high.

May be it's a low level apt. I think maintenance is increasing with the #'s of floor the apt's at.

when you look at the other E line apartments the maintenance is correct.

Rent_or_buy: Many others here can offer a more sophisticated analysis. Mine is admittedly a gut-reaction, but is informed by a a several-year effort to find a real one bedroom, in an established area, with decent MTC under 500k. I have focused mostly on the UES (east of 3rd) because that's most affordable and fits my needs. I have recently seen several one bedroom apartments in the mid-fours to 500K range up there. Downtown is probably more, but I could find a layout to the apartment you posted on the UES for around 5 or less. (Co-op, not condo).

Even if I could afford it, I wouldn't pay more than 600K for that apartment. But that's just my opinion. Seems like a cookie-cutter apartment -- if you miss that one, I'd bet a dozen others just like it become available in that part of town soon enough.
