Kosher spot next to Ottomanellis on Amsterdam & 79th. H&H west side stinks.

Absolute Bagels on Bwy/106th & 107th.

I've actually become quite fond of Fairway bagels (maybe it was just the morning sickness). I'll take 'em over H&H anyday. Haven't really tried the other places.

Kossar's, especially for the bialys.

Hands down it's Absolute on 107th/108th.

As lostintransit said, (and I did in the other), Absolute makes H/H look like a pile of puke.

Why did Fairway stop selling loose Kosar's bialys ? The store brand isn't as good.

absolute bagels are the best in the city. You should make the trip up if you don't live in the neighborhood.

I prefer Tal to H&H. Not by much.
