alanhart - this was some good news. Hopefully means the bottom is near. I am sure that everyone could use some positive momentum.

did anyone actually bother to read the article and think about it? yes we need the tax revenues from the financial industry, but is it really so grand that so many tax payer dollars have been diverted to save jobs in financials when states can't afford to pay for the basic services?

NY is doing better solely because the taxpayer is getting reamed to subsidize the rich.
