I saw the OH this evening... maybe $800? It is a large 2BR on a high floor. What do you think?

Thanks Bernie. I saw it back in January when it was at 999K and thought it was insanely expensive. It is still well out of (our) price range but thought it could come down even more. I think 800K is about right for the size, location, building, base don past sales, but still a lot of $$.

Were there a lot of people there? Was it furnished? In Jan it was empty. Also I wonder what the financials are like on Ageloff, if anyone knows.

It was EXTREMELY furnished - just like the pictures online. That means it was empty and they re-furnished it? Hmmm... odd. There was a relatively good turn out - maybe 5 or 6 parties while I was there.

This seems like a 1 bedroom converted into 2. Having both baths in-suite make it an inconvenient 2 br. There's also no closet in the smaller bedroom.

The pictures do look great.

Thanks, for all the info. I guess they had to stage it (the furnishings were slightly different in the pics from Jan v. May).

Owner is a musician, was in the tabloids. Broker said he was moving to Brooklyn with fiancee, but maybe he moved back? That or he just staged for the sale. Sold for 770K in 2005.

Will be interesting to see what it goes for. I actually liked it but it was just too expensive.
