coop apt. insurance

Discussion about
Getting set to close on a coop apartment in Manhattan and looking for recommendations on insurance. Any companies that are good? What are yearly premiums? Any special riders necessary like loss assessment (in case of special assessments for extraordinary event like major damage, etc.)? Thanks.

I've used Travelers for years. Available only through agents I think. I bundle auto, second home, umbrella liability with coop insurance and get better rates by doing all via one company. Periodically agent checks to see if rates remain competitive.

Travelers here, too. My guy is Denis A. Miller on Long Island. Even got me earthquake insurance (very unusual for New York, but he got it for me).
