building at 105 West 72nd Street

We saw Apt. 4B at an open house in May 2009. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, it is really a one bedroom apartment with a maids room the size of a walk-in closet. The building is very old with no doorman and the lobby has a musky smell. The laundry room has three washing machines with very small capacity and three dryers. The apartment has double pane windows so you don't hear noises from the street. The kitchen is functional with good cabinets. The apartment has 10 foot ceilings and some nice architectual details. The elevator was slow so we walked down to the lobby and noticed that an apartment on the second floor left their garbage tied in a bag outside their door. Overall, the price of the apartment is very high for what is offered.
