Lets even say you didn't have the folks saying it would go down more... you miss this part?

"sustained declines seen in the market since late 2007"

So, at that pace, we "only" have a year to go.

And, oh wait, this is all of UK. Did someone just try and use a national number?

The UK is much smaller than the U.S. so there is nothing wrong with using a national number.

So, all of a sudden, I can use the northeast because its "only" 50 million people as a comp for manhattan?

No problem, just like in the US. There are 2 markets in the UK - London & everywhere else. And even in London, it's central London & the outer boroughs.

Prices in the places where bankers live are still falling. See Chelsea, SoHo, the West End. W1, SW7, SW5, for instance.
