Folks, Good luck to all the bears and bulls. May the economic recovery help or kill you all. Good Luck.
no, don't go. If you leave, the housing terrorists have won.
The brokerage firm stopped paying you already? I mean I thought they were on the verge of bankruptcy but I guess things are worse than you said.
My 3 week vacation is up and my work load is going to keep me from posting on this site.
Hold the lines my bullish friends...
We'll miss you.
Until you think of a new userid.
i hope you're not leaving because you got a little bloody...i used to get that all the time and hung in there...there's a lot of good posters and you can learn a lot. you have a different opinion than others but that's what makes SE great.
damnit! My latest Corocran check bounced! I swear, if they don't get their act together over there, I will leave SE or become bear!
is there none to challenge me? Pick up the broadsword! So I may vanquish you with my bear nutz....
LMAO... he spent this entire vacation in LIC? What a loser... now i can talk about his squirrel nutz all day.... oh, I know your reading this right now Ericho75.... I know the Bodegas' got internet connection, you need it for the security system....
Well all the other bullz... out there.... there goes your last great white hope :)
(it means whatever you want it to mean)
Wrong, i'm flying back tonight...currently in SouthAmerica visiting your peeps.
Ericho, Julia makes a good point. You should come back at some point and advocate your pt of view.
You got beat up a bit but you have to admit your early posts were strong...it's ok, you can change your tone and still send out your message.
I happen to disagree with your msg, by the way! best, gg
Julia,
Leaving because of the sire amount of idiots on these boards. I would love to continue to slug it out with them and show them that this economy is stabilizing and doing a lot better than expected, but what's the pont......no good economic data or financial charts can prove or steer their bias. They are who we think they are....... hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
"your early posts were strong."
Not only strong...the economic data over the past few weeks proved me right.
i was actually thinking kind thoughts until that last post. you think that the economic future of this country can be predicted by a month or so of rather suspect data? and the stock market? do you recall what the stock market was doing right before it took that lovely nosedive down last time? i wish i had your optimism, and your inability to look at data points analytically.
farewell.
r u visiting bears in southamerica?
this is an overly long death scene....how exciting for you to be coming back to your favorite place.
AR,
I thought i was in your sh!tlist.
All recovery have to start somewhere. To discount all attempt as failure is wrong.
> Until you think of a new userid.
ROTFL.
"i was actually thinking kind thoughts until that last post. you think that the economic future of this country can be predicted by a month or so of rather suspect data? and the stock market? do you recall what the stock market was doing right before it took that lovely nosedive down last time? i wish i had your optimism, and your inability to look at data points analytically."
Well said, AR.
The guy has to resort to name calling, but its unfortunate that the truth is his "analysis" just doesn't stand up to reality.
Truth can hurt sometimes.
Christ, Violetta Valéry dies faster than you, and she takes forever in 3 acts.
There was nothing wrong with your data. Just your conclusions based on them.
"Not only strong...the economic data over the past few weeks proved me right."
I don't remember seeing any posts from you until after the S&P was up 35%.
> Not only strong...the economic data over the past few weeks proved me right.
We're out of a recession? Housing prices are up?
You have an awfully funny definition of "right".
The economy is losing jobs, yet the S&P is up, therefore the economic data is strong? Please, whatever you do in your job, don't do it for me.
"They are who we think they are....... hard to teach an old dog new tricks."
Except "now is the time to buy" IS the old trick.... and you're the old dog.
Meet the new dogs.
(same as the...)
Yes, the contrarian "buy real estate" call remains crowded.
There is nothing like taking in the arguments (to call them so is too much credit) from Alpine, Ericho, and LICC as a means to bolster ones own conviction. God forbid there could be a well thought out and expressed bull on this site. I can't reach any other conclusion but the bottom is far from in.
"God forbid there could be a well thought out and expressed bull on this site."
I don't know what you mean, Rhino. There's plenty of well thought out and expressed bull on this site.
Steve, you are on a roll.
"God forbid there could be a well thought out and expressed bull on this site."
Perhaps the problem is that if you have thought it our well, you aren't a bull anymore....
Ah yes, we will not witness what our hindu brothern refer to as.......reincarnation.
If only your Atman could meet your Brahman then you would be released into the cosmos in a great flash which is...............Nirvana.
Alas, untouchables such as yourself will be back on the site in a day sporting a new username.
May the passage be painless and the great Ghanish guide you on your journey.
we will now witness
Seriously, it's me or the bulls seem to be way less articulated and funny that the bears? (not being neither)
falcogold1 keep em' rolling ... you r a funny dude... mimi et. al. regularz...
patient09, you r scary... you're like the guy that comes into the bar just when a fight's about the happen and clock the first red-neck you see :)
can someone enlighten me... is he flying back to LIC from visiting bears in Southamerica? or going to southamerica from his vacation in LIC? Totally lost me there....
i think its all made up....lets see if we can figure out his next incarnation.
If LICC is as attractive as he says, the question is why go anywhere? When you pay 18x rent, down from 25x, you need to be there 48 hours a day to make it worth your while...on a normalized basis.
there are quite a few here who have inner and outward access to superb humor.
who will come back as a cockroach, and who will come back as bush3? both are repulsive, one is harder to eliminate. who will come back as cheney, the ultimate weebles wobbles but they WON"T F'NG FALL DOWN. sorry, i digressed, but just for fun.
wow...Ar you're great.
julia, i'm getting very excited about your quest for decent housing at a reasonable rate. i'm starting to see 1 beds under $400k, and not just one or two, and oddly, i did a search today for properties under $800 psf, and against my preconceptions, the listings were hugely on the low end, particularly for your market. i had thought that the financing availability would prop up the lower end, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
"Seriously, it's me or the bulls seem to be way less articulated and funny that the bears? (not being neither)"
That is a very bearish statement.....
Let's say that I have an affinity with the bears. Technically, I'm not one.
W67, follow along. He wasn't visiting bears in South America ... he was visiting small marshmallow confections in the shape of very young chicks (ones that belong to YOU, in fact). Re-read his post from 18:47:43, about 3 hours ago.
yo alanhart... i can pretend to be smart...but I'll admit, I can'tz figure your reference out... goodnite all, especially aboutready... Happy Birthday. AR, do you mean the kids talking back doesn't end after 5yo... good grief Charlie Brown.... this is gonna be a long slog isn't it?
"Seriously, it's me or the bulls seem to be way less articulated and funny that the bears? (not being neither)"
Tough to be funny and articulate when you are bitter...
